IWRF Seeking Technical Deligates for 2014-2016 Events

The International Wheelchair Rugby Federation (IWRF) is seeking qualified applicants to take on Technical Delegate positions for sanctioned events from 2014 to 2016.

The primary role of the Technical Delegate (TD) is to ensure that the wheelchair rugby competition is conducted in accordance with all rules and regulations of the IWRF. Prior to the event, the TD is responsible for liaison with the event Local Organizing Committee (LOC), providing advice and information on the technical requirements for the wheelchair rugby competition. During the event, the TD is the senior IWRF representative to the LOC, and has the authority to rule on all matters related to the rules and regulations of the IWRF.

The IWRF is working to develop and support individuals interested in filling this important position at key events. The aim is to invest in people who wish to develop their skills as a TD. This call for applications will start to create a pool of individuals who are able to commit to the sport and work with the IWRF to manage and develop a world-class competitive system.
