The European Maximus was designed so that the new teams can play other teams at a similar level, while learning together from the experience. Germany and the Czech Republic served as mentors to the developing countries, and all teams shared in joint team practice sessions. IWRF European Zone representatives were in attendance to provide educational clinics for people interested in becoming future Classifiers and Officials in the sport.
