IWRF 2015 Asia-Oceania Championship Results

Congratulations to Japan who are your IWRF 2015 Asia-Oceania Champions for the first time ever! Australia has won Silver, while New Zealand have earned the Bronze over Korea.

The Asia-Oceania Championship was held in Chiba, Japan from 29 October to 2 November, and was a qualifier for the Rio 2016 Paralympics next September. The tournament featured national teams from Australia, Korea, New Zealand and host country Japan.

Australia has already qualified for the Rio Paralympics next year, and Japan has earned the only other available direct qualifying spot for the zone by winning the event. Japan has also improved their world ranking to number 3 in the world as a result of their fantastic finish this week.
